GIDGET DESIGNS OUTDOOR COLLECTION is a collaboration of our designer’s innovative style  and craftsmanship with state of the art manufacturing technology. Collections were created for the utmost comfort and durability which transforms every item into an exquisite luxury piece.

All our furniture is hand woven over a fully welded commercial grade aluminium frame which is then powder coated to make it highly corrosion resistant. A combination of round and square bars are used to create our contemporary designs.

REHAU - RAUCORD WEAVING MATERIAL

anti sagging agents and UV inhibitors, provides the perfect combination of a smooth soft feel for comfort, and a strong yet durable protection from splitting, cracking or colour fading . The extruded polyweave can withstand temperatures from -40C to 80C. Due to its UV resistance and solid extrusion, you can be sure that the colour will stay vibrant.

CARE & MAINTENANCE

Fabric care - To extend the life of the cushions, we recommend that when you are not using them you store them in a cool dry area away from extreme sunlight and rain. Always ensure they are dry before storing them away.

CLEANING

aluminium frame - use mild soap and warm water and rinse clean.
cushions - brush off loose dirt and dust regularly when dry only. Sponge lightly with a mild solution of natural soap in luke warm water. Machine wash covers if needed in cold water and do not tumble dry cushions.
polyweave - clean with warm soapy water and rinse clean with cold water.

GIDGET DESIGNS WARRANTY

GIDGET DESIGNS outdoor furniture is premium grade furniture, designed and built to the highest standards to last for many years.

Our warranty applies on our products as follows :

WARRANTY INCLUSIONS

Gidget Designs warrants that our furniture will be free of manufacturing faults and defects for the following periods :
- for aluminum frames, 2 years only
- for polyweave material, 2 years only

From the date of purchase and to the extent allowed by law. This warranty is offered for the benefit of the original purchaser only and is not transferable.

WARRANTY CONDITIONS

- Proof of purchase is required for all warranty claims the finish is warranted against staining, splitting, cracking or fading, sagging or unraveling subject to normal usage conditions on the polyweave material and all our aluminum frames have a 2 year commercial warranty against cracking or failing under normal conditions.

We reserve the right to make substitutions with similar merchandise should the model or colour in question no longer be available. The replacement will be on  the individual item or items, not a complete setting.

WARRANTY EXCLUSIONS

- the warranty excludes fading or damage to the frame or polyweave material if such fading or damage is caused by negligence, accident or abuse.
- no responsibility shall be accepted for shipping or packaging charges incurred in making a claim under this warranty.
-- the warranty does NOT apply where the product is used for commercial use.

PRODUCT ATTRIBUTES

All our frames are made from 1.6mm gauge aluminum which are then powder coated to prevent rust. Our polyweave material is a blend of HDPE & LLDPE for added strength & flexibility, into this blend we also add an impact modifier to add to the strength & to give memory to the weave to return to its usual form after use to prevent sagging. To stop fading of the colour by the sun we add a carbon based UV inhibitor to prevent fading of the colour which is solid throughout the weave & not just as a top colour coating.
